Act quickly is the number one thing to do. Blot with cold water. Do not rub. Use a dishwashing detergent on the stain, repeat until stain is gone.

Frequent rubbing of light detergent with water and finally using stain remover will help to remove blood stain of your carpet.

If washing them out has not worked, turn the carpet upside down and cut out the backing and the carpet. Replace the removed plugs of carpet with samples from underneath and out of the way, for example from under a bed or dresser. If needed the washed-out carpet plugs can complete the carpet from the donor site.

Use a damp cloth or towel and dap up what you can. Work some shaving cream into the stain, bloth up. Repeat as needed, depending on the age of the stain. If it is fresh, spinkling salt on it, blot up and rub in a little hydrogen peroxide, before getting it water wet. Apply the peroxide with a cloth.
