In order to build the safest and most reliable concrete railing possible, one should build the form and pour the entire railing. When concrete pieces are used, there is a greater chance that human or natural forces will bring it down over time. The soild structure provided by the concrete form method makes for a solid structure free of breaks.

You should pour this into a form that is already in place. They will be very heavy so make sure the form is thick enough to support it.

The best way to do it is to pour them in a form either wood or foam and than install once complete.

To build a concrete rail you would first need to lay the boards down in the shape of your rail. Then you would pour the concrete into form the smooth it out.
