Go to your local temporary agencies. They will assess your skills and tell you which jobs you qualify for. They usually have a lot of summer job opportunities. Also, go to your local state agency. Some states offer summer job programs for residents.

Walk into every business with a "Help Wanted" sign and apply. Tell every teacher, parent, friend, church member, friends' parents, and neighbor that you want to work and what can you do for them. Go to a day labor center and wait to be hired by someone looking for help.
