You don't really need to prepare to see a psychologist. You might want to think about why exactly you are seeing one and what you want to get out of it, but you don't need to prepare.

You should have a clear goal for what you expect to get out of the session. Temper your expectations for an immediate cure. Be prepared to share openly and honestly.
