You have a couple of different options. They make tooth brushes and tooth paste for dogs. They also have special bones to chew to freshen breath.

This is a very common problem for many dogs and their owners, so may not come as a surprise there are some products out there to help. There is dog toothpaste, but this is full of effort and dogs hate it. I prefer buying 'Greenies,' special bones that clean teeth.

First, is the dog eating poop? If so you should clean up his "bathroom" area to prevent him from doing so. Second, is the dog eating other nasty things like dead animals? Third, and this is the most likely, how are the dog's teeth? If they are full of plaque, cavities, or damage, the resulting smell can be awful!

You should brush his teeth once a day and also make sure he has regular cleanings at the vet's office. You can also give him chewies (like Greenies) specially designed to clean dog's teeth.
