Generally, they are listed in the paper, either in a boxed advertisement or in the classifieds. Check the local "underground" paper, too and check on line for calls in Pittsburgh.

Craigslist has a sections called TV/Film/Video, there are often postings for acting jobs. There are postings by state and city, so you can find something near you. However, you might have to look for casting calls in near by cities.
