there have been quite a few 5 dollar coins but none used as legal tender if that is what you are asking. there's the 5 dollar liberty and indian head coin but that minted over a hundred years ago and is sold out

I know that there has been a half dollar and a dollar coin. They come in coin form. But I have never heard of a five dollar coin.
