Do women like a single red rose or would they prefer the whole dozen?

A single red rose is simple and romantic, while the dozen implies a lot of money spent. Personally speaking, a single rose is more effective and less of a waste.

Being a woman myself, I would prefer the whole dozen. I could nurture each and every one and take them out as they die. You could have them longer and as each one fades, you will eventually be down to one anyway. It means more to be presented with a larger arrangement.

As a women, I find a single red rose to be very sweet. If this is a girl you are getting to know, definitely one rose.

Either is a good gesture of kindness. However, if you really want to impress your lady then buy her a whole dozen roses. A dozen roses looks very impressive and is very romantic. It appears to your lady that you went out of the way to do something extremely thoughtful and loving.
