Do plants grow better with music?

Studies have shown that classical music could have an impact on the growth of your garden. However, even as a music teacher I highly doubt that much stock can be taken in such a study.

Plants usually grow a lot better if you play them heavy metal a couple of times a day. They usually tend to like Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Slipknot, among other bands. as the loud sounds reach all the way into the earth and stimulate the growth of your precious plants.
