It depends on how acidetic the plant is the higher the acidity the more you can use vinegar on them. You must dilute it with water, it helps prevent diseases, on low acidic plants you dilute vinegar with water and pour on the soil to help it grow.

It is true that you can treat plants with apple cider vinegar, and in fact it can help prevent fungi infestation.

I have never heard of this, what would you be treating for? I would imagine that if you put too much in the soil it would kill the plant because it would through the ph balance of the dirt off. vinegar is very acidic, I would imagine if you put it on the leaves it would burn them

Yes! Vinegar is a good alternative to pesticides. It works quite well. There is a whole list of natural pesticides on the internet.
