Can you tell me how to set the idle on a Chevy Colorado?

the idel on the colorado is controlled by the computer. if it's not idleing correctly you have another problem. it could be anything from a vacume leak to a faulty computer. get the codes pulled most parts stores will do this for free. that will help to determine the problem.

Newer model vehicles don't need any adjustment; it's all done automatically by its electronic control unit. If the idle needs adjusted, you probably have other problems.

The idle on the Chevrolet Colorado is controlled by the vehicle's engine control module. It actively adjusts the idle based on metered airflow, engine coolant temperature, vehicle speed and selected gear, and other sensor inputs. It cannot be manually adjusted. The only way to adjust the idle is by having the ECM reflashed with a different calibration.

Since that vehicle is fuel injected I assume the idle is set by the engine computer. I don't why you would have to adjust the idle. If you have idle problems check your IAC valve and your throttle position sensor to make sure the are clean and functioning.
