Yea stores such as Old Navy have very basic solid colored t-shirts. I'm sure you can also find them as stores such as Target and Wal-Mart.

I, too, dislike the cutesy sayings. I had some good luck at Target a few years ago, but lately I've taken to buying men's tshirts and altering them to fit.
