If you can't function outside of your home due to the IBS and it is causing self limitations, I suggest you see your physician to see if there are possible diet changes, lifestyle changes and maybe medications to improve your quality of life.

This depends on a variety of factors including your employer and the severity of your IBS. If your symptoms keep you from working and is documented by a doctor, you may get compensation. This will not be full benefits, it will be hard to live on this amount of money.

IBS is not on the list of conditions or disease in order to collect disability pay for. Check out other methods that may assist with the pain.
