Will drinking milk while breastfeeding create gas for a baby?

Generally, drinking milk while breastfeeding will cause no harm for babies. Occasionally though, babies will have an intolerance for dairy products, which can cause gas and other problems.

It depends on the baby if it does or doesn't have any reactions to the milk you drink. It's possible, just like it's possible for other things you eat and drink to have effects on the baby, but generally it's case specific, you will see a pattern if it's so.

It most certainly can. Consuming dairy has been linked to colic in breastfed infants. I would suggest trying to cut out all dairy for two weeks.
