Laying eggs without shells is generally thought to be a nutritional issue with the chicken. A lack of calcium is often the reason. If she is getting plenty of calcium then it may be a reproductive issue. Some young chickens lay eggs without shells until their system matures.

If these are young chickens, they will probably grow out of this. Make sure that they have oyster shells available to them and that they have clean, fresh water. Also make sure that they are getting plenty of sunlight, as this problem is caused by a lack of calcium and Vitamin D.

This is a pretty rare occurrence that can happen if your chicken is about to or just stopped moting. It can also result from a poor diet.
