It is in the oil pan, which is located beneath the engine, near the front of the car. There is also a transmission pan in the same area, so don't mix up the two. Consult your owner's manual for more detail.

the plug is underneath the motor, located on the rear side of the oil pan, facing the back of the car. It is a 15mm bolt which should be cleaned when removed and only snug when tightened. be sure that you replace the oil filter when changing the oil on any car.

If we're talking pre '98 then it's located between number four and five piston right next to the alternator. After '98 it was moved to the other side of the motor block between number five and nine piston for much easier access.

The oil drain plug should be located down on the oil pan. There is usually a flat spot near the rear of the engine where it is located. Sometimes it is mounted more toward the front or side.

When you Jack up the front end of the car and go right underneath it, find oil pan. Plug is located on back side facing the tail end
