White-tailed deer are present in every state throughout the continental United States. There range is much more limited in the southwest United States, but does occur in small patches in these states. They are absent from both Alaska and Hawaii. White-tailed deer also inhabit our neighbors in Canada and Mexico!

The white tail deer are normally found in the northeastern part of the country. There are a few found out west. Pennsylvania and West Virginia are two states well known for the white tail population.

The white tail deer live in Southern Canada and most of the United States expect for Alaska, Hawaii or the Southwest United States.

You should start off and say what states don't they live in, deer live about everywhere in the usa. There size is different through out the usa though.
