Where do coco beans come from?

Coco beans come from areas that are close to rain forests. Typical countries where they can be found are Brazil and Ghana. Specifically the coco bean comes from a plant in these areas.

I believe that coco beans come from the coco plant in South American or different regions where it is always warm and things can grow. I think that they come from the same place as the coffee bean. Coco beans I do know come from the coco plant and I would research more where that is located.
