Take out a huge advertisement in the newspaper, with a picture of you holding the ring and on one knee. Have her come across it while reading the paper.

Pick somewhere that is special to you both, like the place you met or had your first date. Set things up just like they were in the past, but make something go wrong. When it goes wrong, act like you're trying to fix it, and instead, pull out the ring!

Maybe you could go to the beach or lake. With help of a friend have a nice dinner set up with wine, flowers you know all that girlie stuff . Write in the sand or grass somewhere around you "Will you marry me?" with little tea lights and have someone light them once you are ready to ask.

Go skydiving and at the location where you'll both land have friends and family spell out for you in big white sheets of paper "Will you Marry Me?". It's a crazy proposal but if she trusts you enough to skydive then why not marriage?

For a proposal to be creative it needs to be special for that couple. You can't make or repeat memories from another person's suggestion. Think of something the 2 of you have done, or a place important to you and go from there. Don't let someone else influence it.
