If you have a CD or DVD that came with the Creative Zen player, run that before doing anything else. It usually has the right driver included. Otherwise, visit on the Creative Support page, look for a player that looks like yours and download the right driver from there.
Creative zen players will have an internal ROM driver which are detected automatically by operating systems starting from windows 2000 to windows 7. If you are using earlier OS like windows 98, then you need to install the drivers for your creative zen which will be given along with your creative.
There is no correct USB driver for the Creative Zen. The one that comes in packaging is the best. If you are using a newer operating system like Vista or windows 7 it should recognize it automatically. In windows XP I used to have some troubles, but after installing the original drivers it all went fine.
Well I would suggest looking for the correct driver for you player and operating system on Creatives website. Otherwise you might want to look around the forums to see if other have found a driver that works.
For windows os all hardware are installed as Plug and Play drivers. If this step
fails try to put installation media came with your hardware for driver installation.
