What would cause a clear, jelly-like vaginal discharge?

I don't think I have a yeast infection.

If the discharge does not cause itchiness and has no foul odor, it is perfectly natural...it means your ovulating. So it's your body's way of telling you your in your most fertile period of the month. It should happen about 14 days after the first day of your period, if you have a 28 day cycle.

If there is no unusual smell to the discharge, and being that it is a clear color, there is probably no problem such as a yeast infection. this discharge is a normal part of your monthly cycle.

I'm pretty sure a clear, jelly-like discharge is pretty normal. When vaginal fluids get exposed to open air they get kind of gel like. That's normal.

As long as you are not experiencing yellow or green discharge with an odor you should not be a alarmed. It is during the time of your ovulation that is causing the clear jelly like substance discharging

That type of discharge could be caused by many things. So long as it is clear its more than likely normal, the cervix produces a clear gel like secretion around the time of ovulation.
