Onions have vitamin B, vitamin C, and small amounts of mineral. In addition, onions contain the antioxidant quercetin, flavanoids, and other micronutrients. Onions are very good for you, but remember that when you heat (fry, bake, etc.) onions they lose most of their nutritional value. Raw onions contain all the natural vitamins.
