A diverse diet is good for a parrot, but digestive disruption can be fatal. Among the 'do not feed' list is large amounts of sugar or salts. Also, do not feed a parrot lactose products, although a very small amount of yogurt is OK infrequently. Most importantly, never feed them shelled peanuts, only stripped raw nuts are digestible.

Parrots should not be fed foods with high fat or calories. Parrots can be vulnerable to heart disease. Feed a parrot healthy foods such as vegetables or fruits.

Parrots can eat most every food that humans do, except for avocados and potatoes. Also, caffeine is toxic for parrots. Stick to fruits, vegetables, and nuts.

Parrots can eat most of the same foods that people eat. There are some foods that are poisonous to parrots, though. Avocados are the worst and should never be fed to a parrot. Potatoes shouldn't, either.

The food should not give to the parrots is the egg and the non-vegetarian type of food. You may offer the parrot with tomato, chilly, fruits like Gauva etc. The parrots like the fruits very much. You may not give it to the rice with egg and mutton etc. It cannot eat the non-veg.
