The English budgie is larger than the American budgie. Pairs bond with each other more than humans while singles are easier tamed and will mimic you more. Seeds are the main food source with leafy green veggies and fruit regular treats. Females lay 4-8 eggs on alternate days that begin hatching about 19 days later. A nest box is needed.

An English budgie is relatively easy to breed. First make sure thier cage has room to move, you will need to attach a breeding box to the cage. Make sure you have a pair, male and female. Before long the male will fertilize the female and she will use the box to lay her eggs. Nutritious diet also very important.
