Your answers must be sworn to, and answered truthfully, completely and precisely. Falling short can constitute an offense to the court. Don't delay, and if in doubt consult an attorney.

Answer as best you can. Answer specifically what is asked without embellishment. Begin your answer by repeating the question. Q: "What happened on Monday, August 2? " A: "On Monday, August 2 this is what happened:. . . " Do not offer information that is not solicited. Be truthful so as to be consistent. These things will come up later.

You should know that you must answer the questions truthfully to the best of your ability. Making false statements to interrogatories can really come back to haunt you if the case goes to trial.

Interrogatories are inquires which are regulated by statutory law. That is, there is a limit as to how many or what type of questions you are obligated to answer.
