What should I do about a sore on the leg of a dog?

If it's minor, clean it well and try to keep the dog from licking/chewing, if necessary use a cone collar to prevent them fussing. More severe wounds call the Vet.

You can get medicated creams and ointments to put on it to help it heal. Make sure it stays clean and doesn't get infected.
