To calculate your ideal weight you must use the Body Mass Index (BMI) calculator. This will include your current weight, your height, your age and gender. A BMI calculator or chart will give you information about what is the ideal weight for you. It will also tell you if you are in a healthy weight range or not.

The current medical standard for calculating your ideal weight is called BMI or Body Mass Index. It is calculated as weight (in kg) divided by height im meters squared or 703*(weight in lbs./height in inches squared). Ideal BMI ranges from 19-25. Below 19 is underweight, above 25 is overweight. BMI "ideal" doesn't apply to pregnant women or very muscular athletes.

You do not need to measure anything since your ideal weight is the weight that you want to be ideally. You could try and think about what weight you want to be or go to your doctor and ask your doctor what weight they want you to be.
