It takes an all in one nylon ribbon. This type of cartridge is 11A3540. It is usually a very compatible cartridge that can be fitted into just about any Lexmark printer.

Assuming you are talking about an X2450, X2470, X2480 MultiFunction Printer (All-in-One). You will use Lexmark InkJet Toner Cartridge 18C0948KIT or 18C0781. These are available in limited supply as this printer has been discontinued by LexMark.

The Lexmark 2400 Series takes a black nylon printer ribbon. The item number is Lexmark 11A3540 and the item number is 915041. This printer ribbon also is compatible with other Lexmark models.
