Yes, Tylenol 1 also contains the drug codeine. Tylenol 1 contains 325 mg acetaminophen and 8 mg codeine. Incidentally, Tylenols 2-5 also contain 15 mg, 30 mg, 60 mg, 90 mg codeine each. All of these require a prescription in the United States.
