Depends upon the condition of the motorcycle. There are bluebooks that help with the process but a lot of what gives the motorcycle worth is based on the bike itself. For example, hasn't been wrecked or "laid down", has been service regularly so the engine is in good order. etc.

The value of a motorcycle can decrease in a similar way as a car. Harleys can maintain or even increase in value, depending on the level of care and maintenance.
