A driver license with a motorcycle endorsement--either from Kansas or another state--is required to operate a motorcycle on the highways in Kansas. The endorsement is added to the driver license after the fact.

Yes a license is required. You can actually add your motorcycle to your license. You have to have acceptable proof of identity. You also have to pass a vision test, written test, and a skill test. Or you can also complete a drivers ed motorcycle class.

I believe that pretty much every state requires you to have a motorcycle license or and endorsement on a normal license. To be sure on your local regulations you should contact your DMV. They will tell you everything you will need to have to legally ride your motorcycle.

As far as I know it is illegal to operate any motorcycle over a certain displacement without a motorcycle license. You should contact you local DMV to get specific regulation for your area. Some areas will let ride scooter on a normal license though.

I am pretty sure that every single state in the United States requires a person to have motorcycle specific license. You should consult your local DMV though since each state has their own regulations. I know certain states allow you to ride scooter on a normal license as long as they are under a certain displacement.
