The value of a buffalo nickel can be anywhere from $100 to over $500 dollars. Remember they were made in a limited run and only distributed on the East Coast. I would imagine between the condition of the coin to the location you are in would determine its value.

Unfortunately it's not that much. A number of coin guides list the value of a 1935 buffalo nickel as between 35 and 45 cents. It might help if you have a bunch!

A 1935 buffalo nickel in circulated condition worth about 35 cents, regardless of mint. An uncirculated nickel, or one in very good condition would be worth somewhere in the neighborhood of a dollar or three. These are trade values, and if you are looking to sell, you will probably get less.

The value of any coin depends alot on the condition of the coin. The best coins are said to be in "mint condition", meaning they look like they did when they left the US Mint. If you had a mint condition 1935 buffalo nickel it could be worth as much as $12.
