Seventeen to twenty-one days from the date of incubation for parakeet eggs. The humidity and room heat affects the incubation time. If your area is 65-72 degrees, the embryos will develop faster. Sometimes both parents will help with incubation period and both will feed the fledglings. The brooding period is never shorter than 17 days.

Usually about 18 days from the time incubating starts. But, parakeets don't start incubating usually until they've laid a good clutch of 6 eggs. That process can take several days.
