What is the cost of living in Jamaica?

Jamaica has an extremely high cost of living due to rampant inflation and a very shady government. For example one American dollar is worth between thirty five to forty Jamaican dollars. The true number should be between five and ten but the economy is very unstable.

Per capital income is $9,000 (Wikipedia). Wages are low. Energy costs (electricity, gas) are high. As an American vacation destination, many prices are comparable to the U. S.

just like th cost of living any where else there is no specified cost to live in one area. for jamaica i would expect it to be cheper than america
