This book points out some of the problems in the American school system that people do not talk about often. I would definatly recommend this book as it shows a world that is not talked about by many

Jonathan Kozol's 1992 book looks at the disparities in education in inner-city schools compared to affluent, suburban schools. He visited several as part of his research and found that poor children (who are also largely minorities) receive a substandard education when held against their wealthier peers.
