My Life as a Dog is a Swedish film from 1985. It is about two boys, brothers, who are separated and sent off to live with a different relative each so that their gravely ill mother can rest. It has nothing to do with the Disney film "Shaggy DA" which you mentioned.

My Life as a Dog is a Swedish film that came out in 1985. It is about a boy who suffers a number of losses including his mother and his dog. It is not at all related to the Walt Disney movie, the Shaggy DA, which is a sequel to a 1959 film,the Shaggy Dog.

"My Life as a Dog" is a 1985 Swedish film based on a novel about the life of a boy who was sent to live with family. The "Shaggy DA" is in no relation to "My Life as a Dog".
