The concept of metal ideology is to live one's life in the stereotypical lifestyle of a fan of heavy metal music. This may include over-excessive drinking, recreational drug use, a low level of respect for members of the opposite gender, and wearing lots of leather and studs on one's clothing.

This is an antiquated term for grouping human history by our level of technology. You have probably heard it refered to as the Bronze Age or the Iron Age. In addition there is the Stone Age and the Industrial Ages.

It is knowing what is real Metal and what is a 'poser.' Bands that do the 'live' show with amps, drum kit and power vocals. A 'poser' just thinks they are metal just because they have a drum kit but not the whole package.
