What is "flitter flutter"?

It is to describe a flight that is very quick and irregular like a bird in flight. An onomatopoeia is a word that imitates the sound it describes. Example: Buzz.

Flitter flutter is an excellent example of onomatopoeia. It would normally show the noise that maybe a small bird/ moth / butterfly would make when flying. This is used rather than 'flap flap' as it defines the animal as small.
