Biaxin aka Clarithromycin is used for pharyngitis or tonsilitis due to Strep infection. Also used for acute sinusitis, exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, skin infections due to Staph.Prescribed for otitis media(ear infections), duodenal infections from H. Pylori bacteria and as a dental prophylaxis for those allergic to penicillen. Side effects: headache, rash, diarrhea, abdominal pain or discomfort.

Biaxin is a brand name of clarithromycin, used to treat bacterial infections of the respiratory system, ears, sinus, or skin. It may also help stomach ulcers caused by H. pylori.

Biaxin is a antibiotic generally used to treat pneumonia, Bronchitis along with infections of sinus, ears, throat and skin. It stops the growth of bacteria which caused the infection.
