If you have taken the full course of antibiotics and still have symptoms talk to your doctor so he can change prescriptions. It is fairly common for this to occur.

An urinary infection not responding to antibiotics will warrant a urine culture and sensitivity test which will clearly depict the organism and also its susceptibilty to the various antibiotics. Based on the result an appropriate change in your antibiotic regimen will yield positive results.

If course is completed and you still have symptoms then you have infection with organisms which are resistant to that anti biotic. Consult doctor to change antibiotic

Usually it takes up to 72 hours for the antibiotics to get into your system, and then you usually get a yeast infection from taking the antibiotics. Be patient and your symptoms will go away soon.
