Migraines are linked to lots of things, including caffeine and nicotine. Stop smoking, lay off caffeinated drinks. Exercise regularly, take up meditation and eliminate sugar from your diet. Migraines are a response to something wrong in your life so make changes to get healthy.

I am pregnant and having depression problems as well. So exercising is out because I am constantly tired. I have stopped caffeine with no effect on migraines. I have been smoking for 13 years and know that they aren't the cause either. Thanks for your reply. :)  add a comment

Eliminate all sugar, including all fruit and sweets of any kind. Eliminate all caffeine from all sources. Eliminate MSG. After the headaches are gone, to find the real culprit, slowly add one thing at a time back to the diet to see which causes the headaches.

Seeing a registered massage therapist or an accupuncturist can make a world of difference for a daily migraine sufferer in reducing the pain, symptoms and frequency.

A daily rountine is good for migranes to maintain a balance. This routine can be decided by figuring out what has worked to keep the migranes at bay. Food, exercise and stress reduction are possible key factors that can be used to avoid triggers that seem to lead to pain.
