Anthropod is a relatively popular name way to indicate a bipedal humanoid. This term is not completely correct and may be confused with anthropoid and arthopod.
It is an invertebrate animal with a segmented body and jointed appendages. It has no back bone but has an exoskeleton. Arthropods are diversity is enormous and comprise 75% of the earth creatures.
