A going away party should be created in style right from start with invitations. The Type of invitation you choose may depend where they're going or why they're getting there.

Keep the invitation cheerful and positive... don't say "farewell", "going away", or "good-bye". You could say "*name here* is moving on to new adventures! Join us for a fun-filled celebration to wish her good luck in all her new endeavors in *name of place she's moving to*".
