To apply for foodstamps you will need proof of current income, if any, and it would be wise to have income figures for the previous 12 months. Tax returns are helpful. Also you will need a breakdown of your monthly living expenses and, importantly, confirmation of those expenses such as receipts, rental agreements, etc.

You will need proof of income or lack there of for the last four weeks, as well as your identification. Make a copy of all bills such as electric, gas, water, telephone, rent or mortgage. If you have children, you will need to sign a paper to certify they are residents of the US, and take along birth certificates.

You will need income eligibility and residency information for everyone in your household as well as documentation of need, including proof of rental costs. You should also have proof of identification, such as a driver's license.

Depends on your area sometimes. Usually proof of income, a social security number, and an ID. They also may give you a questionnaire to fill out.

Take along proof of your address (a utility bill, etc.), photo ID, most recent tax filing, SS#s of dependents in the household, proof of rent (copy of the lease) or mortgage, bank statements and the last three paycheck stubs. A determination is made of your living expenses, so you need proof of all.

You will need to be able to account for your expenses and your income, as well as your residence and your dependents. These things will determine what you are eligible for.
