It is usually considered safe to take Tylenol and Benadryl together, and long as both medications are taken according to the package instructions. Benadryl is an antihistamine and Tylenol is a pain killer. However if you take other medications you should check with a pharmacist to see that it is safe to use Benadryl and Tylenol together with other medications.

It is not dangerous to take the two medications together. The product Tylenol PM is a combination of normal Tylenol and Benadryl. As with all other medication, the key is to check the dosage and not to take too much of either medication at once.

Tylenol actually makes this combination in a over the counter pill - Tylenol PM. As with any mediction, you should follow the package directions or your doctors directions.
