NASA is an acronym for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. NASA is an executive division of the United States government and is responsible for all space programs and research. NASA was brought about in 1958 by the National Aeronautics and Space Act, which replaced the National Advisory Committee for for Aeronautics (NACA).

It depends on which N.A.S.A. you mean. I'm going to guess you mean the American space program, and say it stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. But there's also Nahverkehrsservice Sachsen-Anhalt, which is a German traffic service. The National Association of State Archaeologists. National Association of Students of Architecture from India. Native American Student Affairs. And about 20 others.
