There's a commercial product available called "duck starter". Babies' starter should have about 20-22% protein (protein content can be reduced to 18% for adults). Also finely chopped fruits and vegetables. Do NOT feed them grains, onions or regular bird seed (for either wild or domestic birds). Also, give them lots of water.

You can actually find baby duck food at some farm stores, chick starter would be ok too. Do not feed them bread or bird seed. Corn meal, fruits and veggies would be ok too, as long as you mash them up (since they don't have teeth).

We can use duck starter to feed the baby ducks. Chopped fruits and vegetables can be given, because they are unable to bite. They also love to eat insects and worms and dislike grains, bread, onions and seeds. Feeding milk is a good choice. Provide them good water in a regular interval,it is a basic element to grow healthy.
