It could mean prostate cancer but it could also be non-cancer related. Some reason for a high PSA level are a recent prostate biopsy, recent ejaculation, riding a bike, prostatitis, Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia and a digital rectal exam. It could also be a lab error, so make sure you retake the test after six weeks to be sure.
