This could mean that you have some spotting. This can continue to occur, which is just a slight annoyance. Your doctor may have you do another ultrasound to check on the progress of the baby. Normally, bleeding around the embryonic sac will heal itself, other times it will cause a miscarriage.

A certain amount of breakthrough bleeding is normal. These are parts of the endometrium that usually slough off during menses that are not involved in the pregnancy. Its nothing to worry about unless a heavy flow.

Normally during pregnancy any type of bleeding is not considered good for the foetus. So immediately consult your doctor and follow his advise.
