Omega 3 fatty acids like those found in fish oil help with a dog's itchy skin. Flax seed oil will also help. A good quality dog food that does not contain corn or other potential allergens will also make a major improvement in your dog's skin health and coat.

Dogs often get itchy or dandruff because their skin has less oils then people skin. Do not use human products on your dog, don't wash them so often, and rub them down with olive oil occasionally.

Change your dogs food to high protein high mineral food

Itchy is not good. It could be that your dog has either fleas or mites.If there is hair falling out take the dog to the vet. If not, Bathe your dog in Flea and Tick Shampoo weekly. If the problem persists contact your vet for further information.
